Our Story
Knock Knock Learning began with a simple but important realisation.
As music educators, we have taught in many different environments – from large group classrooms to intimate one-to-one lessons. While classroom teaching has its structure and reach, we often found ourselves questioning whether it truly allowed students to learn at their best.
In highly commercialised settings, lessons can become repetitive, rushed, and constrained by rigid systems. Creativity is limited – not just for students, but for teachers as well. Music, which should be expressive and personal, risks becoming routine.
We knew there had to be a better way.
Through years of teaching, one truth became clear: children learn best when they feel comfortable, supported, and understood. For most young learners, that place is home.
